The Holt MIL-STD-1553 PCIe evaluation card is a PC interface card designed to connect the MIL-STD-1553 multi-terminal device (HI-6130) to the PCI Express (PCIe) slot of a Windows PC. The HI-6130 is a single-supply 3.3V BC/MT/RT multi-terminal device for MIL-STD-1553 dual-redundant bus communication. This card comes bundled with Holt's high-level API software library and two demo programs, making it ideal for use as a means of testing and simulation. This reference design also includes information on how to connect the HI-6130 to the computer's PCI Express bus using a bridge chip and programmable logic array.
